Trypan Blue Solution ( Blue Tod)
Trypan blue solution, often referred to as 'Blue Tod', is a dye used to determine cell viability by staining dead or non-viable cells. Viable cells, with intact cell membranes, exclude the dye, while non-viable cells with damaged membranes take up the dye and appear blue under a microscope. This method is commonly used in cell culture and research to assess cell health and identify dead cells.
